Easy Guide To Euskera, a campaign to introduce Euskera to visitors
Donostia Turismoa & Convention Bureau has created the video Easy Guide To Euskera with the aim of introducing Euskera to visitors. This initiative is part of the new VISIT-BIZI 2017-2021 Tourism Master Plan and seeks to highlight our culture and language. In doing so, we also emphasize what makes San Sebastián different and unique compared to other tourist destinations.
– To complement the video, a blog email has also been created with the aim of sparking curiosity about Euskera.
– For the development of this project, the Euskera Service of Donostia has provided funding to Donostia Turismoa & Convention Bureau.

Donostia Turismoa & Convention Bureau is committed to promoting Euskera and Basque culture as part of the core areas of work outlined in the VISIT-BIZI 2017-2021 Tourism Master Plan, supported by funding from the Euskera Service. Cities are becoming increasingly similar, but visitors seek authenticity and what makes each place different and special. This represents an excellent opportunity to promote and internationally showcase our language and culture.
The goal of the Easy Guide To Euskera video is to introduce Euskera to visitors in an enjoyable way; to let them know that Euskera is our language and, along the way, to learn something about Euskera or try speaking it during their stay in Donostia.
To complement the video, a blog email has also been created with the aim of sparking curiosity about Euskera. It also provides visitors with information about Euskera and the opportunity to learn more words in Euskera.
The post, mainly aimed at visitors, will be published in four languages: Euskera, Spanish, English, and French, and can be found on the Donostia Turismoa & Convention Bureau website.
