La Concha has been named the best beach in Europe and the sixth-best beach in the world in the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards. In order to share the news of this prestigious award, which highlights the city’s reputation as an internationally-recognised quality destination and supports the concept of year-round visits to the city, San Sebastián Turismo & Convention Bureau has created the #LaConcha365 campaign, launching a special competition and a promotional video which emphasises the attractive nature of the city on all 365 days of the year.
The video has already achieved 919,157 views on Facebook and 495 people from 42 different countries have taken part in the competition. The winner was Eduardo Escobar Gutiérrez and the most popular “perspective” of the city was #LaConchaDaydreaming (17.30% of votes).
