Donostia / San Sebastián, forming part of the small-city category, is now ranked fourth nationwide in the absolute category and Euskadi’s best-rated city in the URBANTUR report assessing and grading the tourism competitiveness of Spain’s main urban destinations between 2016 and 2022.
The report by Exceltur grades tourist destinations’ performance in terms of their range of leisure and business products, competitive conditioners of the urban environment and local lifestyle, accessibility, mobility, governance, strategic management and economic and social results. Donostia / San Sebastián achieved particularly high scores in terms of governance and strategic management, coming in third.
